Emily Gurwitz - Band Clinics and Consultation

Emily Gurwitz is available for concert band clinics for both middle and high school band programs. When teaching a band clinic, Emily has a hands-on approach throughout the rehearsal. During your class, she will chime in, demonstrate concepts, and teach at a pace suitable for the class. (The students will be playing their instruments most of the period and won't have much downtime!) Before your first scheduled clinic, it is beneficial to have a phone or Zoom meeting with Emily and to also send a recording of your ensemble. Usually within 24 hours of your visit, Emily will e-mail you detailed notes of your visit that consist of what was worked on in class, as well as suggestions for further improvement.
